Body Kit
Starting form the rear, we developed a custom slim tour pak with flowing top lines and a custom mounting bracket that set the tour pak further back. The movement of the tour pak allowed to have a design that matched with the extended rear fender and provided extra seating space for the passenger. At the rear we installed our Billow rear set wit the 10" out saddlebags and rear fender. The rear set allowed us to have the bagger look with a perfect stance for daily rides.
Since the bike has a lowering frame component, we had to make one of a kind side covers. The blended perfectly with our Celtic tank shrouds and created an even seamless flow through the motorcycle.
Fairing was not left untouched. To maintain the low stance of the bike, we developed a wider look outer fairing for this custom road glide build and lowered it with our custom CNC made lowering brackets.
CVO style radiator cover always looks good on a Road Glide Special. But we decided to fit a similar design chin spoiler on the Ultra model. It was not an easy task, but we managed to have the long radiator cover sides fitted together with the fairing lowers. Finally, we developed a 23x5.5" front fender for the jumbo sized fat front wheel.
Accessories and the Small Details that matter
With build like this, we like to have every small detail worked out. Going to the rear, we made custom LED strips, with turn signals in the middle, that cut out the red light while blinking. All around the motorcycle we developed a unified Diamond Series CNC accessories collection which included that air filter, derby cover, latch covers, gas cap, master cylinder covers, shifter rod and full floorboard system. Additionally and only for this motorcycle we also made Diamond series windshield trim and frameless mirrors.
Having the seating position further away it was necessary to make an individual handlebar. The design that we had in mind was not of ordinary and contained bending lines for it to stand out. The seat itself was formed individually according to the clients needs and stitched using a custom design pattern.
Going into the really small points, we made a custom top lighting for the tour pak. The LED lights were position a custom CNC milled glass which contained our brand Logo T&S. The detail is visual only when you know where to look, but thats what makes these kind of build special.
Let's Keep it Cool
We really wanted to make something, that we have not yet seen in a Harley motorcycle. And that should be the refrigerator for your six pack. The custom tour pak was large enough to accomodate an 8 channel class D Zapco amplifier and a custom freezer. Turn it on when on a ride and enjoy the refreshing drink when at a stop. The Zapco amplifier together with the DSP allowed us to power up the 8 speaker around the motorcycle and have a crystal clear sound with enough bass even when you ride at 140 km/h.
Suspension and Engine
To have the stance when parked and the comfort when on a rider, Bomber Glide was equiped with front and rear air suspension and an electric center stand. To spice the things up, we developed a custom computer controlled air suspension system, that allowed us to park the bike with one click of a button as well as to raise it the the drivers position. We incorporate riding modes to have the ability to adjust the rides height and stiffness for riding solo and with a passenger. All of the controls were installed in a custom lock cover.
The front was fitted with a large 23x5,5" Custom Wheel together with the Arlen Ness lower forks. The huge front always stands out when the motorcycle is parked on the center stand and brings out that true custom Harley feel.
When the bike looks powerfull, it has to have the ability to pull. For that matter we installed the 128" S&S engine kit. Combined with the S&S exhaust the bike not only sounds good but can put a big smile on your face when accelerating.
To control all this power we also installed Barnetts lock-up clutch system. With the help of our transparent Diamond series derby cover, the beautiful clutch is visible from the outside.
